The clinic provides free primary health care and information to adults who have no health insurance. Care is provided by volunteer physicians, certified nurse practitioners and other health professionals. The clinic offers a wide range of care for many medical problems, beginning with an office visit with one of our volunteer physicians or nurse practitioners. Lab work, tests, x-rays, procedures, nutriitional counseling are available to qualified clinic patients. We will make every effort to provide you with the medications you require. In the event that we do not have your medication, we will give you a prescription to take to a local pharmacy. Payment for prrescriptions filled elsewhere is your responsibility.
The Good Samaritan Clinic does not provide emergency care, pregnancy care, birth control, spinal surgery, dental care, gastroenterology, or pediatric care. We cannot provide care for patients with AIDS, STDs, hepatitis, or TB. We are not a pain management clinic and do not prescribe any narcotic medications. The clinic has limited resources and our priority is to treat medical conditions that can benefit from treatment. We do not provide diagnostic testing for disability applications or conditions that you have already determined cannot improve or benefit from treatment.
